Finally decided to run a marathon? Excited about a new idea? Bursting with joy over a new project? Good. Leave these emotions to yourself.

Talking right and left about your intentions, you only make it worse. Resist the temptation to collect a bunch of likes for posting your intentions on the social network. The positive response makes your brain believe that the job is already done, you have reached your goal, which means that there is no need to maintain motivation.

So keep your intentions to yourself. You will receive your portion of admiration and likes for sharing the results.
